The restaurant is next to the historic center of the little medieval city. Therefore, if after dinner, you are in the mood for a pleasant walk, you are very well located.
As for the restaurant, it is quite simple from a design point of view. However, you can opt for a table in the dehors, which always makes you feel a different atmosphere during summertime.
As for the service, I really appreciated the kindness of the personnel, especially since they have been super fast at serving us. As for the politeness of the personnel, I honestly think it directly starts with the owner of the place, who kindly suggested me a really good wine, produced in Sicily, to drink during dinner.
Let’s shift to the important part: food! The quality was really good!
As a starter, I had a mix of four different plates: my favorite one was a focaccia surmounted by burrata, eggplant and sword fish. The other three were a tartare of tuna, ceviche and a shrimps’ cocktail.
Then I decided to opt for a plate of spaghetti with raw shrimps and burrata, which was amazing: it was delicate to taste and also a perfect portion.
Finally, I shared two desserts; the first one was a crumble of peaches, which was good but nothing really special. The second one, was a cheesecake with fig marmalade; this last one was REALLY good.
I had a really positive impression of the restaurant; therefore, I would advise to try it in case you are in the area. Another advise would be to try to book the place in order to avoid queuing outside
