While I was surfing on TheFork, I stepped into Mama Chicò: I soon had a look at some pictures of plates and of the menu and decided I was going to try it! (they also had 30% discount).
The location is amazing, sober but with attention to the smallest detail, as you can see from the pictures I took.
As for the service, they were super-fast, I think that in less than one hour and a half, I ate starter, main course and of course the dessert. Also, as soon as the owner discovered I was Italian, he tried to speak Italian with me.
Regarding the food, it was really good! As a starter, aligned with the Spanish culture, I shared croquetas with a sauce of yogurt and ginger, which is a really good combination of flavors. On top of croquetas, I also shared a really peculiar plate: a base of fries, with scallops and surmounted with a little fried egg.
As main course, I ate duck meat (amazing) with a raspberry sauce and crispy apple on a mango sauce.
Finally, as a dessert, I ate an apple crumble with vanilla ice cream which was really good and not heavy at all.
