El Paraguas is a restaurant in the heart of Madrid, close to Retiro park.
The place is super chic and refined in every detail. You can choose to eat either in their dehors or in the interior part. Both of them are worthwhile! It really depends on you.
As for the service, it is really good: as you sit down, waiters come with homemade onion chips along with gazpacho.
Also, Theo bread is amazing: there are mainly three types you can choose from and they are always hot.
Finally, I ate croquetas and codfish as main course. I would advise you to share your plates since portions are really abundant; in fact, I couldn’t eat dessert. I will go again for sure, especially to try the dessert!
